The Blueskilling Innovation project will bring together its European partners, education and training institutions, industry representatives and students in Bilbao on 10 November 2026 to share its main achievements and explore the future of skills development in the blue economy.
As the Blueskilling Innovation project approaches its conclusion on 31 December 2026, its partners will gather for a final event at Bizkaia Aretoa (EHU), Bilbao, Spain, to present the results of their collaboration and reflect on the project’s contribution to skills development in the maritime sector.
The event will bring together European project partners, universities, Vocational Education and Training (VET) centres, maritime clusters, industry representatives and students who have participated in the training programmes piloted throughout the project.
The programme will include an overview of the project’s main achievements, presentations from the partners highlighting their activities and lessons learned, and a round table discussion on “Skills for the Future Blue Economy”.
Participants will also have the opportunity to explore the impact of transnational cooperation within the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme and discuss potential opportunities for future collaboration.
