UBO participated in the 4th edition of Les Océanes Atlantique, held on 12-13 October 2026 in Le Pouliguen (Loire-Atlantique, France).
The event brought together researchers, public authorities, businesses, associations and citizens to discuss key challenges facing coastal and maritime territories, including climate adaptation, biodiversity protection, marine renewable energies and sustainable coastal development.
During the event, Mr. Abdeslam Mamoune had the opportunity to present the Blueskilling Innovation project, of which UBO is a partner. Funded by the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme, the project aims to strengthen skills, promote innovation and support workforce development for the blue economy across the Atlantic region.
The event provided an excellent platform to showcase the objectives and ongoing activities of BlueSkilling Innovation, while fostering exchanges with experts, stakeholders and decision-makers involved in maritime and coastal development.
